growing up, my mom or dad would read us a story before we went to bed...at 8:30 pm...i swear it was my bedtime till junior year. what can i say? i really like a good nights sleep. even on friday nights i'd fall asleep before 20/20 was over. i'm an 80 year old woman, i know. i digress.... tonight my dad read us the mike leach article from texas monthly. what ever happened to chicka chicka boom boom?

we saw kelly clarkson last night at the kentucky state fair {ohhh kentucky, what a gem}. she's my favorite singer and i've always wanted to see her in concert. she did not dissapoint. i look like this 99% of the time...and i wonder why the boys aren't flocking....

she's the best.
