so long, farewell....

i can't believe the winter olympics are already over. i just love them so much. this year i formed a serious infatuation with shaun white. who can blame me though? he's the best. but i really did like watching all the sports, i mean did anyone else catch that usa/canada hockey game...wow, that's good t.v right there. oh, and speed skating...don't even get me started. vancouver, it's been real.

snowboarding.

k, since i live in idaho i should be able to snowboard or ski right? wrong. i've decided to have my cousin lindsey teach me to snowboard this winter. i mean how else am i gonna start up a conversation with shaun white?

lent.

for lent this year i gave up laziness. ok, maybe our church doesn't do lent, but in texas i used to always feel left out when everyone else was doing it, so i conformed. what can i say, i like to feel included. so far, i've worked out everyday but sunday for 6 days. ha that's pretty impressive ya? lent is holding me more accountable which means more workouts...which also means new clothes. shopping trip in april, georgia? think about it.

free therapy.

school and i aren't on very good terms right now. don't worry, we're workin on it. i wanted to walk out on it, but that's not the mature thing to do. i mean it's not like it cheated on me or anything. and plus, i wasn't giving it much effort. like, at all. so i decided to go for a walk today and you know what? i felt better. breathing in the cold air, seeing the snow, and people watching made me feel like school and i can get through our issues and be a great team.

i was going crazy waiting for my hair to grow out, so i decided to have bree make me blonde again. i love it.

***seriously, if you're in need of a cut/color, go to bree. i've been so blessed with good friends that are fabulous hairdressers.

weekend shinanigans.

i kicked it in roy this weekend with the luthi's and the mangums and it was a blast. seriously, i love them all so much. we ate like kings (steak and shrimp anyone?) and watched the colts play some weak football. at least the commercials were funny right? the luthi's grandkids are the cutest boys ever. it was joe's 5th b-day so we celebrated with gifts and huge pieces of cake w/ ice cream. man i love birthdays. joe also confessed his love for me so we're practically going steady now. am i desperate? maybe. oh and connor sang lady gaga which was awesome. bad romance is one catchy song. leon deem, a mish from new albany, also stopped by which was so much fun. i spent sunday night in provo with em and ry so monday consisted of shopping, baking, decorating, chick-fil-a-ing, and driving back to idaho. those mangums are too good to me. oh and mark and tam sent us all home with jams and salsas....you haven't lived until you've tried their homemade goodies. it was a fabulous weekend.

i cannot wait for sunday's superbowl. em, ry, and i will be partying it up with the luthi's. we just love them. and our colts.
