Spring Break '09

Today it is 70 degrees. I'm in love with this weather. Word on the street is that it's gonna snow on Monday. What?! Not cool. This week was Spring Break so that was nice. I'm all about a break from school. When I was little, Spring Break meant a vacation and shopping, now it means more hours at work. Wait, I'm in college....shouldn't I be in Cancun or somethin? I'll work on that next year. Cabo 2010! Holllaaaa!

We love us some J-Dawgs. I had it for the first time this summer and I was hooked. Sometimes I get mad at Em when she goes without me. It's really that good. And with Em's starving student card you get two dawgs {I feel like Randy Jackson} and two cokes for just six bucks. Seriously, it's a steal. Oh and tonight, they had green hot dog buns in honor of St. Patrick's Day. At first I just thought the bread was a little old, but then I remembered. After dinner we sat in the parking lot of Glenwoood and talked about when Em peed her panties giving a talk in Primary when she was 5 {she didn't want to go before and be late for her talk}. Em is seriously the best older sister ever. She keeps me in line and always makes good choices. Always. I pray that I become more like her someday.

my mom's a rockstar.

I never really realized how much my mom did for me until I went away to school. Growing up, our house was always clean and organized. My mom would scrub the bathrooms, the kitchen, living and dining rooms, bedrooms, and closets. We would all help out, but my mom definately did wayyy more than any of us and I did not give her the thanks she deserved. Today I did the dishes, cleaned the bathroom, scrubbed the counters, cleaned out the fridge, and took out all the trash. It really was a lot of work. I thought "how on earth did my mom do this everyday with 5 kids in tow??" Then I remembered that my mom is a rockstar. She does it all and she looks hott doin it. I love her so much and I'm so grateful for all she does for me. Thanks mom for all your hard work. I wanna be just like you when I grow up. {including the Chick-Fil-A part}

100th post

This weekend was fabulous. I....

1) watched High School Musical 3 {again}. I love that movie. Oh and I really love Zac Efron in that movie.

2) had a slumber party with some hilarious girls.

3) worked a super long shift at work. boo.

4) learned what the farrari symbol is. {it's a stallion in case you were wondering}

5) made an incredibly delicious carrot cake w/ em.
