my new fave dessert.

i eat some kind of treat every.single.day. cookies, cakes, ice cream, you name it, i eat it at least 7 times a week. i have a lot of respect for those "one dessert a week" people, but i have no desire to live that dark life.

a few weeks ago, on pinterest (my new obsession), i pinned this recipe for sopapilla cheesecake. it looked amazing, so my mom tested it out 2 weeks ago and then i tried it for the first time last week while i stayed with her in columbus. i wanted to eat the whole pan. instead, i practiced self control and only ate a third of it. go me. it tastes like cheesecake except that it only takes about 5 minutes to put together and 25 minutes to bake.

oh and yeah i just made another pan today. it's THAT good.

truebes gets a cousin!

these two cuties are having a baby and we couldn't be more excited! baby mangum will only be about 4 months younger than truebes, how fun is that?? congrats em and ry!

labor day.

our labor day weekend was wonderful. josh and i bought the carseat of our dreams for a crazy low price. suuuch a blessing for us-Heavenly Father definitely hears and answers our prayers. we can't wait to see little truebs in that bad dad soon. too cute.

we also watched alladin and oh my goodness, i love that movie. i still have the songs stuck in my head!

i hope everyone has a great week. i'm hangin out in columbus with the family and soakin in as much brynn time as possible before she heads out to school. i'm gonna miss that girl!

31 weeks.

baby trueblood is getting so big! i pretty much always have his foot in my ribs these days. it's a good time. i'm going to the obgyn every other week which i love since it means i get to hear our baby's heartbeat. i can't wait to see truebes in 9 weeks!
