halloween 2012.

 the cutest little lion.

gus loved the bounce house at our ward trunk or treat. he even had a little girl that would protect him when the other kids would get too rough. it was tender.

 

our brave lion even won a treat at the cake walk. woohoo!

this sleepy lion slept like a lamb when he got home.

 

it was a fun halloween full of delicious chili, hot dogs, and candy. what more could you want?

st. louis.

 we ate imos pizza. not our fave, but fun to experience.

 

 enjoyed some ted drewes frozen custard. i could eat this breakfast, lunch and dinner. heavenly.

 visited the arch, of course.

 

and experienced the deliciousness that is pappy's bbq. so so good.

 

gus and i were so glad we could tag along on josh's business trip last month. we love a getaway with our favorite guy.

gus turns the big 0-1.

we have a one year old! what?! it was so much fun celebrating gussy's first year last week. we had some friends and family over and gus loved playing with luke's son henry and opening his birthday presents. he is obsessed with his tractor. it's been so much fun seeing gus grow this year and we can't wait to see what this next year has in store! we sure are in love with this boy.

ch ch changes.

oh my goodness, it's been hectic around here. we've been packing and packing and packing and cleaning and keeping up with a spirited baby boy (who throws up way more than any kid should) and trying to get over colds and getting really excited for our NEW HOME...well duplex, but who cares!
we're getting out of tha hood! although, the hood has grown on us a bit and gus and i definitely fit in here with our no pants policy. we move tomorrow and it'll be exciting. i'm bribing people with honey cream donuts and ice cold water to help us move and it seems to be working. boys love treats.

all in all, moving totally blows but it's so exciting to think about what the future holds in our new little home. we can't wait.

oh and did i mention we no longer have to walk through gus's room to get to the bathroom. bonus!

the big 3-0.

josh turned 30 last month! i can't believe my hunny man is growing up so fast. we kept it low key with homemade spaghetti and a sweet stuff carrot cake, of course (sweet stuff has made our wedding cakes, birthday cakes, fathers day cakes, and gussy's welcome to the world cake...they're practically family). 30 has never looked so sexy!

we're back!

gus is a moving machine these days (and yesterday he stood by himself for like 10 seconds!) so we are always on our toes. he's learning so many new tricks and is still the happiest, chubbiest babe around. we love our wild boy.
