just some pictures of life lately...

gussy got stitches in april while in ohio. he was such a trooper, but my dad felt so bad about it (since he was playing with him and june at the park). gus loved his stitches and still talks about them all the time. "park, hurt, stitches, papa, hurts."

suuuch a little cutie.

this face makes me scared for 13 year old june...eek!

easter.

easter egg hunt in the backyard before church. Indiana is so green and perfect in the spring.

 the easter bunny came!

gus taught june how to open the eggs. candy!

 "dang, who's that fly girl??"

I loved celebrating easter with our little family. I know that Jesus lives and that He died for me and you and because of that blessing, I can be with my family forever. The gospel of Jesus Christ is what makes this life even sweeter. It softens the heartaches that occur and lifts me up when I fall short. Jesus is my older brother and friend.

all day on easter, gus told everyone "happy easter!" in his sweet little voice. he still says it a lot, even 2 months later. what can we say, we love easter!

june turns 1!

our baby girl turned the big 0-1 back in april and it was such a fun day. she got to open presents from grandparents and us, eat her birthday dinner at culvers, eat texas sheet cake for dessert, and got hugs and kisses out the wazoo from all her favorite people. we sure love our spunky, sweet, sassy junie.

and now at 14 months old, she's walking, talking up a storm (mama, dada, papa, gigi, ball, no), and throwing tantrums like a 2 year old. and recently she got her ears pierced which just makes her even more adorable than before. we're big june fans over here (although the tantrums could simmer down a bit).
