Friday, I hung out with Em and Amy. It was a blast.
We watched Bride Wars at the dollar theater {em thought it was a documentary...hilarious.}

Spring Break '09

Today it is 70 degrees. I'm in love with this weather. Word on the street is that it's gonna snow on Monday. What?! Not cool. This week was Spring Break so that was nice. I'm all about a break from school. When I was little, Spring Break meant a vacation and shopping, now it means more hours at work. Wait, I'm in college....shouldn't I be in Cancun or somethin? I'll work on that next year. Cabo 2010! Holllaaaa!

We love us some J-Dawgs. I had it for the first time this summer and I was hooked. Sometimes I get mad at Em when she goes without me. It's really that good. And with Em's starving student card you get two dawgs {I feel like Randy Jackson} and two cokes for just six bucks. Seriously, it's a steal. Oh and tonight, they had green hot dog buns in honor of St. Patrick's Day. At first I just thought the bread was a little old, but then I remembered. After dinner we sat in the parking lot of Glenwoood and talked about when Em peed her panties giving a talk in Primary when she was 5 {she didn't want to go before and be late for her talk}. Em is seriously the best older sister ever. She keeps me in line and always makes good choices. Always. I pray that I become more like her someday.

my mom's a rockstar.

I never really realized how much my mom did for me until I went away to school. Growing up, our house was always clean and organized. My mom would scrub the bathrooms, the kitchen, living and dining rooms, bedrooms, and closets. We would all help out, but my mom definately did wayyy more than any of us and I did not give her the thanks she deserved. Today I did the dishes, cleaned the bathroom, scrubbed the counters, cleaned out the fridge, and took out all the trash. It really was a lot of work. I thought "how on earth did my mom do this everyday with 5 kids in tow??" Then I remembered that my mom is a rockstar. She does it all and she looks hott doin it. I love her so much and I'm so grateful for all she does for me. Thanks mom for all your hard work. I wanna be just like you when I grow up. {including the Chick-Fil-A part}

This weekend was fabulous. I....

1) watched High School Musical 3 {again}. I love that movie. Oh and I really love Zac Efron in that movie.

2) had a slumber party with some hilarious girls.

3) worked a super long shift at work. boo.

5) made an incredibly delicious carrot cake w/ em.

Last night, I recieved this text message from my sister Brynn..."KANYE WEST ON AMERICAN IDOL IN SKINNY JEANS!!!" We really really love us some Kanye . My girl, Kelly Clarkson also performed. It was a goooood night on American Idol.

Dancing With the Stars is back! WooHoo! I am totally voting for Shaun Johnson. I loved watching her in the Olympics and I can't wait to see her sweet moves on the dance floor.

Oh, and today in my Communication class we discussed relationships and the importance of knowing who you are before diving into a relationship. I know from experience that this is sooooo true. We watched the clip from "Runaway Bride" where Maggie tries all the different eggs to decide how she likes hers cooked. I like mine scrambled.

So, why is it that on Sundays I feel the need to snack alllll day long? Is it just me? Jeez, I hope there are others out there.

Last night, Jess and I went to Salt Lake to get her i-pod fixed at the apple store. It was nice to just get out and be at the Gateway. I looooove that mall. I would prob love it even more if I wasn't a poor college student.

Today, Jess and I watched an America's Next Top Model marathon. Ohhhh Miss Tyra, you crack us up. I especially love when she gets all ghetto. Oh no she didn't! We also made some enchaladas. MmmmMMMmmmm.

This week I vowed to workout more. Hello, Summer is like just around the corner and I def wanna rock a cute lil swim suit.

My life is really great. Like, really really really great. I've been blessed beyond belief and I have the best family everrr, but tonight I'm not doing very well. I'm stressed about school projects and papers, what school to go to next semester, what career to pursue, what shoes to wear for em's wedding {it really is a concern}, student loans, credit cards, and relationship troubles. I really wish my mom and dad were here so I could sit on their lap and cry and let it all out. I'm not jungling it all well right now and that stresses me out even more. And now I'm stressed about my face bein all blotchy and puffy from crying so much. You see, when I cry, there's no hiding it. Verrrrry attractive. Tonight calls for a good nights sleep and a streamy dream about Dwyane Wade.

K, so being sick sucks for countless reasons. First off, due to my illness I can only breath through my mouth which leads to extremely chapped lips and no sleep. Honelstly, it's the pits. I loooove a good nights sleep. I'm the kid that went to bed at 8:30 pm every night untill I was like 17....no seriously. Last night I took Niquil...isn't that stuff supposed to knock you out??? Well, it did nothing to me. Awesome. Mostly I hate being sick because it makes my voice so manly that the only song I can sing well is "Rehab" by Amy "hott mess" Winehouse. I may or may not have listened to it on repeat today.

Today, when I was talkin to Em, I used the the word "i-tod" when discussing my new i-tunes purchase. I think it's the new "fetch" or "rufus". Spread it around like wildfire.
