pumpkin cobler.

(image via)

my sister, emily, really got me hooked on mels kitchen cafe blog. everything i've made from her blog has turned out delish! her enchiladas made josh cry (true story).

anyways, last night josh took gus to mutual so i could have some kaylea time, so obviously i baked. baking with no interruptions is magical. it was so nice not to have to nurse while taking things out of the oven or crack eggs while bouncing a fussy baby. it's the little things in life, really.

i whipped up this amazing pumpkin cobbler recipe and it turned out perfect! the only thing i would do differently next time (because there will be a next time) is bake it in an 8x8 pan instead of a 9x13. i served mine with some homemade whipped cream and josh and i went to town on it. seriously, go make some yummy cobbler!

3 months.

i can't believe gus is already 3 months! i love this stage. he's so talkative, smiley, and sweet. i could freeze him right now. josh and i are so in love with him.

one year!

1-15-11
1-14-12

it's amazing the difference a year makes! josh and i celebrated our 1st anniversary with our fave little man. we went out to lunch, watched the young men in our ward play basketball in crestwood, shopped at jcrew, and went to the new albany exchange for a fantastic dinner.

i'm so lucky to be married to josh. he's so loving and supportive and i can't imagine my life without him. here's to many more eventful years!

chocolate nutella and sea salt fudge.

if you're looking for a great dessert (and who isn't, really?) try this. emily made some for us over christmas break and we were all hooked. the sea salt really takes it over the edge. enjoy :)

trying to be healthier this new year?

(via)

make these! i whipped up a batch last week and they were amazing! i didn't add the caramel and chocolate on top, but i'm sure they'd be delish with those gems as well. i love all things reeses so these were right up my alley. oh, and they should be called chubby wifey instead because let's be real, i ate most of them.
