2010...

was a real gem. i went to byu-i and met some amazing friends, celebrated my 21st birthday in cin-city (not to be confused with vegas), fell in love, went to seattle to party at tay's wedding, got engaged, had the cutest house guests ever, decided to go back to school in jan, and became obsessed with the sing off.



2011 is going to fabulous as well. i watched the E! special on katy perry (love her) and decided to be bolder this year. ya know, do things that normally make me uncomfortable...like drugs. just joshin. speaking of josh-i'll be married to him in 15 days. say whaaaaat?!

weekend recap.

-ate puerto viarta

-attempted to watch inception with the bf. i couldn't stay up past 10. i'm elderly, i know.

-hard core cleaned casa de dalby

-opened a beautiful wedding present from my aunt

-found the perfect dress and shirt at jcrew. an extra 30% off clearance items and 15% off for being a student. don't mind if i do.

-attended the ross country jamboree. yes, i said jamboree and yes, it was life changing.

-jammed out to the band perry. i'm in love with them.

-taught the 5 and 6 yr old primary class. cutest kids ever.

-got down on some home-made tacos

-counted down the hours until b gets home....7!!!

and it's magical. last night me, georgia, and josh watched little women and you know what? i bawled my eyes out. josh said, "do you always cry this much during this movie?" what can i say, i love a good movie about strong women. and i'm a sucker for a young christian bale.

glee.

please tell me you guys have been jamming out to the glee christmas cd. it's seriously my fave cd of all time right now. last night, josh and i went to dinner and then drove around some beautiful neighborhoods checkin out their lights/ pretending we lived in them all while listening to the glee cd and you know what? it was magical. everything with josh is pretty perfect (awwww) but glee really takes it over the top. oh, also did you watch the glee christmas episode? did you cry? i did, but lately i cry at everything. i think you burn calories crying and heaven knows i could use that since i'm obsessed with ghiradelli's peppermint bark. please tell me you're familiar with it's festive goodness.

christmas is two weeks away and i couldn't be happier. shopping is definitely one of my hobbies and this year i've definitely found some fab gifts.

tomorrow i'm giving a talk in church about gifts we can give jesus during this christmas season and the year to come. it's been nice to ponder on that this week. everyone could use a nice jcrew sweater, but also maybe some kindness and charity, ya know?

my computer is officially dunzo. thank goodness for great parents with a great mac. and thank goodness for brothers who drop other people's laptops on the cement. hold up, scratch that last part.

2 weeks until christmas.

5 weeks until i'm married.

oh my goodness, i'm loving this season.

productive.

i've been pretty sick these past few days which has turned out to be a quite the blessing. i've online shopped for christmas presents...and maybe a sick present for myself. back in the day my mom would get us kids a "sick toy" when we were ill so i figured i'd keep the tradition going and buy my own. jcrew grey v-neck? don't mind if i do.

i've also been able to get all of my college transcripts sent to my new school. these is no easy feat when you've been to 232456 colleges, but i'm super excited to finish my associate degree soon. community college hollaaa.

i also had ample time to finish addressing wedding invitations and getting those mailed out. 3 stamps for one little square invitation? nonsense, really.

and today, i finished making my ornament wreath and decorating our christmas tree.

oh, and somehow i found time to see the obgyn and my reg doctor. can you believe they wouldn't let me see the pediatrician? i told them my height and they still wouldn't have it. being 21 has it's down falls.
