gus is sound asleep in his room so i thought i'd give a little trueblood update for all my adoring blog fans (hi mom and dad).

gussy and i went to columbus last week to see em, hen, mike, and georgie. seeing em as a mom is tender and little hank is such a sweet little peanut. it was the best. you know what wasn't the best? being super sick all week. i'm finally starting to feel better. be thankful you weren't here on sunday night. i bawled my eyes out i was so miserably sick plus i had a fever that was breaking so i was so so sweaty. hot. mess.

gus is in this really fun stage where he finds something dangerous to play with or put in his mouth, i take it away, and he throws a fit. good times.

jaimee and my mom came into town on monday to visit. it was so nice to be with them. we lunched and made a target trip and talked and talked about everything. i love those gals so much. thanks for marrying j, taylor.

josh is working and schooling right now. he's pretty exhausted. plus, he was mr. mom friday through sunday while i was on my death bed. he got to experience grocery shopping with a baby, so i think he's got a better understanding of motherhood.

our target recently started carrying groceries but everything is expired so i'm gonna say it was a bad move on their part. old yogurt? thanks but no thanks.

gus is so close to crawling. and yesterday in the car i swear he talked. it wasn't english but it was close. he really is such a fun little man.

josh and i finished season one of downton abbey last night. i know, i know, we are sooo behind but oh my goodness we are obsessed. i wanna punch o'brien and thomas. such a good show.

well, i'm gonna go do dishes and clean my kitchen. just kidding, gus just woke up.
