sloppy joes.

 this is one of  our favorite go-to recipes. so yummy, simple, and healthy. what more could you want??

REAL SIMPLE"S turkey sloppy joes:

1 lb. ground turkey
1 onion
1 clove of garlic
1/2 a bell pepper
8 oz. tomato sauce
1/4 cup bbq sauce
1/4 cup dark brown sugar (i just use light since it's what i have on hand for baking)
1 tbl worcestershire sauce

saute onion, garlic, and peppers until soft. add ground turkey and cook until done. add the rest of the ingredients and simmer until thickened.

Mmmm now I want some sloppy joes! And with ground turkey too. I haven't bought a package of meat since before Hen was born but maybe this week is the week!
